Abstract

Mele who is the Project Officer for GEF6 Project explains the work they have been doing on the islands of Tonga as an effort to eradicate rats. Field surveys and Community consultations were carried out. Viliami Hakaumotu, IAS Coordinator stated that the scoping work on the islands are very important to identify if Invasive Species are present and how they affect the biodiversity of the island.
