Biosecurity plan for the restoration of the islets of the Uvea lagoon, Wallis and Futuna

Abstract

The Wallis Islands Biosecurity Plan sets the standards by which the risks of rodent reintroductions or the introduction of new species will be minimized. It aims to achieve this standard of protection for Wallis through voluntary or mandatory measures. Measures to achieve these standards are presented in this plan, and roles and responsibilities are identified. Acceptance and approval of this plan is carried out by the Wallis Territorial Environment Service in close consultation with the local population.
