Abstract
The sacred site of the Taputapuatea - te Po marae, located in the associated commune of 'Opoa, commune of Taputapuatea on the island of Raiatea, was inscribed on May 31, 2010 on France's tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage List. Since then, on July 9, 2017, the site has been classified as a Cultural Landscape (Paysage Culturel). The aim of this study is to continue the existing naturalist inventories of two adjoining valleys in Aratao (Opoa) to complete our knowledge of the Taputapuatea Cultural Landscape listed property and part of the buffer zone, in order to propose management measures in line with the PROTEGE programme's priorities the implementation of IAS control operations and habitat and heritage species monitoring species.
